Description medications: Stefaglabrina sulfate (Stphaglabrini sulfas)

STEFAGLABRINA SULFATE (Stphaglabrini sulfas).

Sulfate alkaloid derived from tubers and roots smooth Stephania Stephania glabra (Rob) Miers, Sem. menispermaceae (Menispermaceae).

White with gray-pinkish white crystalline powder. Slightly soluble in water and alcohol.

It has anticholinesterase activity; It inhibits true and false cholinesterase.

Proposed for use in diseases of the peripheral nervous system: myopathy (adults), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, paresis of the facial nerve, and others.

Administered intramuscularly in 1 - 2 ml of 0.25% aqueous solution, 2 times a day. The course of treatment 20 - 30 days.

Indications are the same as for other anticholinesterase drugs (see. Galantamine, Neostigmine).

Product: 0.25% solution in ampoules of 1 ml (2 mg per ampule 5) in a package of 10 vials.
