Description of the medicine: Aclobrom

PROPANTELIN Bromide (Propantheline bromide).

Diisopropylmethyl [(xanthen-9-carbonyloxy) ethyl] ammonium bromide.

Synonyms: Pro-bantin, Aclobrom, Bropantil, Ketaman, Lenigastril, Mephatelin, Neo-Gastrosedan, Pantheline, Pro-Banthine, Pro-Gastron, Propantel, Spastil, Suprantil and others.

It is a quaternary ammonium compound, similar in structure and action to methacine and chlorosyl. Has a peripheral anticholinergic and spasmolytic effect.

Applied with functional gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, spasms of the ureter and bladder, etc. (see Metacin).

Assign inside 1 - 2 tablets (15 - 30 mg) 2 - 3 times a day.

Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as for metacin.

Form release: tablets of 0.015 g (15 mg) in glass vials of 20 pcs.
