Description of medicine: St. John's wort herb (Herba hyperici)
GARDEN GRASS (Herba Hyperici).
Collected in the flowering phase and dried grass of wild-growing or cultivated herbaceous plants of St. John's wort (Nurericum perforatum L.) and St. John's wort (tetrahedral) - Nureriсum masulatum Grantz (H. quadrangulum L.), fam. St. John's wort (Nurericaseae). It grows in the European part of our country, in the Caucasus, in Central Asia, Western Siberia.
Contains flavonoids (at least 1, 5%), azulene, essential oil and other substances.
Apply topically in the form of tinctures to lubricate the gums and rinse the mouth in the prevention and treatment of gingivitis and stomatitis, and sometimes inside as an astringent for colitis in the form of decoctions.
Release form: in cardboard packs on 100 g.
Broths are prepared from grass or briquettes.
Briquettes of herb St. John's wort rectangular 120 x 65 x 10 cm in size, weighing 75 g, divided into 10 equal segments of 7.5 g each. Pour one slice with a glass of boiling water, boil for 10 minutes, cool, filter, take inside (for colitis, diarrhea ) 1/3 cup 3 times a day; also used to rinse the mouth.
St. John's wort tincture (Tinctura Nurerisi) 1: 5 on 40% alcohol. Transparent liquid of dark brown color. Use as an astringent and anti-inflammatory agent in dental practice.
Inside appoint 40-50 drops 3-4 times a day, for rinses 30-40 drops per 1/2 cup of water.
Release form: in bottles of 25 and 100 ml.
Storage: in a cool, dark place.
