Medication Description: Hypericum Herb (Herba Hyperici)
Herbs Hyperici (Herba Hyperici).
Collected in the flowering phase and dried grass of wild-growing or cultivated herbaceous plants of Hypericum perforatum (Nurericum perforatum L.) and hypericum spotted (tetrahedral) - Nurericum maculatum Grantz (N. quadrangulum L.), herewith. Seals (Nurericaeae). It grows in the European part of our country, in the Caucasus, in Central Asia, Western Siberia.
Contains flavonoids (at least 1, 5%), azulene, essential oil and other substances.
Applied topically in the form of tincture to lubricate the gums and mouth rinse in the prevention and treatment of gingivitis and stomatitis, and sometimes inside as a binder for colitis in the form of decoctions.
Form release: in cardboard packs of 100 g.
Broths are made from grass or briquettes.
Rectangular hypericum grass briquettes measuring 120 x 65 x 10 cm, weighing 75 g, are divided into 10 equal segments of 7, 5 g. One segment is poured with a glass of boiling water, boiled for 10 minutes, cooled, filtered, taken orally (for colitis, diarrhea ) 1/3 cup 3 times a day; also used for rinsing the mouth.
Hypericum tincture (Tincturus Nureris) 1: 5 to 40% alcohol. Transparent liquid dark brown color. Used as an astringent and anti-inflammatory agent in dental practice.
Inside appoint 40 - 50 drops 3 - 4 times a day, for rinsing 30 - 40 drops to 1/2 cup of water.
Product: in bottles of 25 and 100 ml.
Storage: in a cool, dark place.
