Description of the medicine: Sage leaves (Folia Salviae officinales)
SAGE LEAVES (Folia Salviae officinales) (see also Salmus).
Collected during the summer, dried and threshed leaves of a shrub of medicinal sage (Salvia officinalis L.), fam. clear-headed (Lamaceae).
Contain tannins and essential oil (at least 0.8%).
It is used as a local anti-inflammatory agent in the form of an extract for rinsing the mouth and throat (1 tablespoon of leaves pour a glass of boiling water, leave for 20 minutes, cool, strain).
Release form: in cardboard packs on 50 g.
