Xeroform (Xeroformium).

Tribromophenol with basic bismuth oxide of bismuth.

Small amorphous yellow powder, with slight unique smell. Practically insoluble in water, alcohol, ether and chloroform. It contains 50 - 55% bismuth oxide.

Apply externally as an astringent, antiseptic, dried and powdered, powder, ointment (B - 10%).

Storage: in a container, protected from light and moisture.

Ointment kseroformnaya (Unguentum Heroformii). Ingredients: 10 g xeroform, '90 petrolatum ointment of yellow color, smooth consistency with a characteristic odor. Assign with skin diseases.
