Description of the medicine: Salmus (Salmus)
Clary sage extract. Thick mass of dark brown color, sticky, with a specific smell.
It is irritating to skin receptors. Applied in the form of baths as a reflex acting distracting, anti-inflammatory agent for diseases of the peripheral nervous system: neuritis, radiculitis, lumbago, etc .; with rheumatoid arthritis in the inactive phase, osteoarthritis, etc.
Baths are prepared by adding temperature to 36 - 38 'C to 100 l of water. 400 g of salmus are mixed. The duration of the procedure is 10-15 minutes. The course of treatment is 10 to 12 procedures (daily or every other day). When using baths with salmus, the appearance of general weakness, palpitations, dizziness, headache, rapid breathing and pulse, fluctuations in blood pressure (often upward), exacerbation of the disease. In these cases, the baths are canceled.
Salmus is contraindicated in asthma, diabetes mellitus (severe course), tuberculosis, cardiovascular insufficiency II - III degree, vascular crises, severe sclerosis of the vessels of the brain, heart, kidneys; coronary heart disease in the acute phase, skin diseases in the acute stage, neoplasms, rheumatoid arthritis in the active phase with a progressive course.
