Medication Description: Calamus Rhizomes (Rhizomata Calami)
AIRA ROOT (Rhizomata Calami).
Collected in the fall or early spring, freed from the roots and remnants of leaves and stems, dried rhizomes of a wild perennial herbaceous common herb (Аcorus calamus L.); this aroid (aracae).
They contain bitter substance akorin, essential oil (at least 1, 5%), tannins.
Assign as a means of increasing appetite and improves digestion.
Take as an infusion (out of 10 g of rhizome cut into 200 ml of water) 1/4 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
Release form: the crushed raw materials in cardboard packs on 100 g.
