FRUITS OF ODORFUL ODOR (Fructus Anethi graveolentis).
Ripe and dried fruits of a cultivated annual herbaceous plant of fennel odorous (garden) - Anthum gravelens L., fam. celery (Ariasee).
Contain fragrant essential oil (at least 2%), flavonoids, carotene, vitamin C, volatile.
It is used as an antispasmodic and carminative, for flatulence, dyspepsia, and also as an expectorant.
One tablespoon of crushed fruits is poured with two glasses of boiling water, insisted for 2 - 3 hours in a sealed container, filtered. Take 1/2 cup on an empty stomach 2 to 3 times a day.
In diseases of the respiratory tract (as an expectorant), 1 tablespoon is prescribed 4 to 5 times a day.
Release form: on 50 g in paper bags enclosed in cardboard packs.
Dill water (Aqua Foeniculi). Composition: 1 part of dill oil per 1000 parts of water. Colorless transparent or slightly unclear liquid of a peculiar aromatic odor, sweetish, and then bitter taste, neutral reaction.
It is used to improve bowel function and reduce flatulence.
Assign inside 1 tablespoon 3-6 times a day.
