Description of the medicine: Oregano herb (Herba Origani vulgaris)
GRASS OF SOUL (Herba Origani vulgaris).
Collected during flowering and dried grass of a perennial wild-growing herbaceous plant of oregano (Origanum vulgare L.), fam. clear-headed (Laminaceae).
It contains essential oils (at least 0.1%), which include thymol and its isomer carvacol, flavonoids, tannins, etc.
Applied as an expectorant. It also enhances intestinal peristalsis during its atony.
Inside, take in the form of infusion (10.0: 200.0) 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.
It is also prescribed externally for baths (as a light antiseptic and firming agent).

Briquettes of oregano grass (Briketum herbae Origani). Made from ground grass of oregano ordinary.
Rectangular tile briquettes measuring 120 x 65 x 10 mm, weight 75 g; divided by grooves into 10 equal lobules (7.5 g each). Pour one slice with a glass of boiling water, insist 15 - 20 minutes, filter, drink in a warm form, 1/2 cup 3-4 times a day.
