DIGOXINE (Digoxinum).

Lanacordin, Lanacrist, Lanicor, Lanoral, Lanoxin, Natidigoxine, Oxydigitoxin, and others.

White crystalline powder. Almost nerastvorim in water, very little - in alcohol.

By action on blood circulation is close to other cardiac glycosides.

Has a high cardiotonic activity: 1 g of the drug contains 4000 (3277 - 4347) CUD or 1950 - 2600 GED. Has a strong systolic effect, relatively slows down the heart rhythm.
