White crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, low in alcohol.

The drug combines the properties of substances of theophylline group and nicotinic acid (see).
It expands peripheral vessels, improves peripheral collateral circulation, cerebral circulation and reduces the effects of cerebral hypoxia, improves microcirculation in the retinal vessels of the eye. Reduces platelet aggregation. Like theophylline, it strengthens the contractions of the heart.

Assign the drug inside, intramuscularly or intravenously.
Inside take, starting with 1 tablet (0.15 g) 3 times a day after meals; if necessary, increase the dose to 2 to 3 tablets 3 times a day. Tablets are swallowed without chewing. As the state improves, the dose is reduced to 1 tablet 2 - 3 times a day. The course of treatment is usually 2 months.
In acute disorders of the blood supply to the tissues, 2 ml of a 15% solution is injected intramuscularly (1 ampoule contains 0.3 g of the drug) 1 to 3 times a day with a gradual increase in dose to 0.6 to 0.9 g (4 to 6 ml of 15% solution) 2 - 3 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the characteristics of the case (up to 2 - 3 weeks).
In case of acute disorders of the peripheral and cerebral circulation, they are administered intravenously (very slowly!) In 2 ml of a 15% solution 1 to 2 times a day; then move to intramuscular injections (2 ml 1 - 3 times a day); at the same time administered orally 2 tablets 3 times a day.
In severe cases, the drug can also be administered intravenously. To do this, dilute 10 ml of 15% solution (1, 5 g) in 200 or 500 ml of 5% glucose solution or isotonic sodium chloride solution. Enter within 1-4 hours up to 4 times per day. The duration of treatment is 5 to 10 days.
