TRIBENOZID (Tribenozidum) *.

Ethyl-3, 5, 6-tri-O-benzyl-D-glyukofuranozid.

Synthetic compound - glyukofuranozid, derived from the group of sugars. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-anaphylactic, analgesic activity; It has flebodinamicheskoe or venotoniziruyuschee, action, t. e. increases the tone of the walls of veins and reduces congestion in the veins, improves microcirculation, reduces the pathologically altered vascular permeability.

The mechanism of action is poorly understood; drug is an antagonist of bradykinin and other biogenic substances (histamine, serotonin), involved in the development of some pathophysiological processes (swelling, endothelial damage, allergic reactions and inflammation, pain and others.).
