Description of the medicine: Indapamide (Indapamide)
INDAPAMIDE (Indapamide) *. 4-Chloro-N- (2-methyl-1-indolinyl) -3-sulfamoyl benzamide.
Synonyms: Arifon, Extur, Fludex, Indaflex, Ipamix, Lorvas, Metindamide, Natrilix, Tandix, etc.
In structure and action, it is close to clopamide; is its indoline analogue.
Like clopamide, it has a diuretic and antihypertensive effect. In patients with hypertension, it reduces the tone of peripheral vessels and general peripheral resistance.
Assign mainly with hypertension stage I and II.
Take orally at 0.0025 g (2.5 mg = 1 tablet; adult) 1 time per day - in the morning before meals.
The drug is usually well tolerated, but the same precautions must be followed as when using other similar diuretics.
Release form: 2, 5 mg tablets.
