FLOWERS VASILKA BLUE (Flores centaureae Cyani).
Collected during flowering and dried marginal and middle flowers of a one- and two-year-old wild-growing herb of cornflower blue (Сentaurea cyanus L.), fam. asters (Asteraseae).
They contain glycosides (the sum of anthocyanins), tannins, mucus, etc.
It is sometimes used as a diuretic for edema of renal and cardiac origin in the form of an infusion (10, O: 200.0). Take 1/4 cup 3 times a day for 20 to 30 minutes before eating.
