Description of the medicine: Salbupart

Salbupart *.

Chemically salbupart corresponds to the b-adrenoblocker salbutamol (see).

According to the action on the contractile activity of the uterus, salbuparth is close to partusisten, is used as a tocolytic agent to eliminate the threat of premature birth, and also after operations on the pregnant uterus.

Enter intravenously drip. The contents of one ampoule (5 mg) are diluted in 400-500 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution or 5% glucose solution. Enter at a speed of 15 - 20 drops (starting with 5 drops) per minute. The rate of administration depends on the intensity of uterine contractions and tolerability (follow the heart rate and other indicators of hemodynamics). The duration of administration is 6-12 h.

Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as for partusisten.

Form release: 0.1% solution in ampoules of 5 ml (5 mg).
