Medication Description: Lactin (Lactinum)
A hormonal drug derived from the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland of cattle and small cattle. For medical use, lactin for injection is produced (Lactinum pro injectionibus) - sterile white lyophilized powder in vials containing 100 or 200 U of the drug.
The drug has the ability to stimulate lactation in the postpartum period.
Apply with insufficient excretion of milk in the postpartum period.
Introduce intramuscularly 70 - 100 IU 1 - 2 times a day for 5 - 6 days. Dissolve the drug in 2 to 4 ml of sterile water for injection.
Contraindicated with a tendency to allergic reactions.
Product form: 100 and 200 U in bottles with a capacity of 5 ml, sealed with rubber stoppers and compressed with aluminum caps, in a package of 5 bottles.
Storage: in a dry, dark place at temperatures from + 15 to + 20 C.
