Description of the medicine: Adcortyl A

TRIAMZINOLONA ACETONID (Triamcinoloni acetonidum).

A triamcinolone derivative having at position 16, 17 an acetonide group.

Synonyms: Kenalog, Adcortyl A, Albicort, Aristocort acetonide, Fortcinolone, Kenacort A, Kenacort T, Kenalog, Remiderm, Triamcortin, Vetalog, and others.

Fluorinated derivatives of glucocorticosteroids in connection with their relatively low absorption are widely used as local anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and antiallergic agents.

Produced in the form of ointment on a fat basis, cream or paste on a water-soluble basis. Ointments on fat basis are soluble in lipids of the skin and often penetrate better into the surface layers of the skin. Some patients better tolerate creams on a water-soluble basis, which are usually well absorbed, do not leave grease spots on the laundry, if necessary, they are washed off with water.

In diseases of the skin accompanied by pyogenic infection, ointments or creams containing along with glucocorticosteroids antibiotics (neomycin, gramicidin, etc.) are used.

Ointment << Triacort >> (Unduentum << Triacortum >>). Ointment yellowish white, containing 0.025% or 0.1% triamcinolone acetonide and auxiliary substances.

Has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiexudative and antipruritic effect.

Apply externally in the form of rubbing 2 - 3 times a day with inflammatory and allergic skin diseases, eczema, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, etc. When eye injuries are not used.

Product: in aluminum tubes of 25 g.
