TRIZISTON (Trisiston).

Synonym: Trisiston.

Available in the form of pills containing different ratios of progestin levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol.

Sugar Plum purple color contains 50 micrograms of levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol 30 mcg; dragees pink - 75 micrograms of levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol 40 mcg; orange pills - 125 micrograms levonorgestrel and 30 mcg ethinyl estradiol.

C 1 - to 6 - th day of the menstrual cycle, take 1 tablet daily purple; 7 - to 12 - day - 1 pills pink; from 13 - to 21 - day - 1 pills orange. Then make a break for 7 days and again continue to receive according to the scheme.

It is believed that such a method of progestin with estrogen is more consistent with physiological processes and provides high contraceptive efficacy, good tolerability.
