Description medications: Nicotinamide (Nicotinamid)

Nicotinamide (Nicotinamid).

Nicotinamide.

Synonyms: Aminicotin, Benicot, Bepella, Endobion , Niacevit, Niacinamid, Nicamid, Nicofort, Nicotol, Nicovit, Pelmin and others.

The white crystalline powder. The easily soluble in water and alcohol. Aqueous solutions (pH 5, 0 - 7, 0), sterilized at 100 "C for 30 min.

According to the structure and close to nicotinic acid and on a par with it as a vitamin PP.

In connection with a neutral reaction solutions nicotinamide causes local reactions when injected. Pronounced vasodilating action nicotinamide does not have, and its application has not Blush skin and feeling a rush of blood to the head, is often encountered in the application of nicotinic acid.

Indications for use and dose basically the same as those for nicotinic acid (pellagra, with low acidity gastritis, chronic colitis, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and others.). Nicotinamide as a vasodilator, however, does not apply.

Assign nicotinamide oral and parenteral.

Oseltamivir is prescribed for adults of 0,015 - 0,025 grams, 0,005 children - 0.01 g 1 - 2 times a day.
