Description of the medicine: Nigedaza

Nigedaza.

A preparation containing a lipolytic enzyme isolated from the seeds of the blackgrass Damascus (Nigella damascena L.), family. Buttercup (Ranunculaceae).

The powder is dark brown with a weak characteristic odor. Hydrolyzes vegetable and animal fats.

Activity is expressed in lipolytic units (LE). 1 mg of the drug contains about 110 LE.

Produced in the form of tablets, soluble in the intestines, which provides full preservation of activity with normal and increased acidity of gastric juice and partial (about half) - with a low acidity of gastric juice.

Indications for use are the same as for the salt. Assign also in cases of an age-related decrease in the lipolytic activity of duodenal juice.

Assign inside 1 to 2 tablets for 10 - 30 minutes before meals. With normal and increased acidity of gastric juice washed down with water, with hypo- and anacidic conditions - 1 - 2 tablespoons of natural gastric juice. The course of treatment is usually 3 to 4 weeks, but if necessary, it can be longer.

There are side effects - abdominal pain (in patients with chronic colitis), in these cases, reduce the dose or stop taking the drug.

Form release: tablets, coated with a shell (soluble in the intestine), containing 0.15 g of nigedase, 30 pieces in cans of orange glass.

Storage: in a dry, protected from light place at a temperature of not more than +10 C.
