Description medications: sponge antiseptic to kanamycin (Spongia antiseptica cum Kanamycino)

SPONGE antiseptic to kanamycin (Spongia antiseptica cum Kanamycino).

Dry porous mass of yellowish color. It comprises gelatin with addition of kanamycin sulfate furatsilina, calcium chloride. It has hemostatic and antimicrobial action.

External applied as a therapeutic agent in the hemostatic and diffuse parenchymal bleeding, and as a prophylactic agent after hirurgncheskoy primary treatment of wounds, in the treatment of infected wounds, and others.

To stop the bleeding at the wound impose a piece of necessary size sponges (cut off a piece of sterile scissors), pressed against the bleeding site for 1 - 2 minutes. If necessary, apply to the bleeding site, new pieces of sponge to achieve hemostasis. With extensive wounds with a purulent discharge made in the first 3 - 4 days with daily dressing change sponge, and then change the sponge every 3 days. Left in the wound (if necessary) absorbed sponge. Local treatment may be combined with antibiotic treatment.

Product: pieces of sponge weighing 0.5 - 0.7 g in a transparent PVC and paper bags; jaws 10 in the package.

Storage: in a dry dark place at a temperature no higher than + 25 'C.
