A synonym. Grass of water pepper.
Collected in the flowering phase and dried grass of the wild one-year herbaceous herb pepper plant (Rolygonum hydropiper L.), family. Buckwheat (Rolygonaceae).
Contains quartzetine, rutin and other flavonones, tannins. The content of flavonoids in terms of quartzetin is not less than 0.5%.
Reduces the permeability of blood vessels (see Vitamin P), increases blood coagulability.
Apply as an extract and infusion as a hemostatic agent, mainly in uterine bleeding.
