Description of medicine: Grass of the mountaineer pepper (Herba Polygoni hydropiperis)
Highlander Pepper Grass (Herba Polygoni hydropiperis).
Synonym. Water pepper herb.
Collected in the flowering phase and dried grass of the wild annual grassy plant of the mountaineer pepper (Polegonum hydropiper L.), fam. buckwheat (Polegonaceae).
Contains quartzetine, rutin and other flavonones, tannins. The content of flavonoids in terms of quartzetine is not less than 0.5%.
Reduces vascular permeability (see Vitamin P), increases blood coagulability.
It is used as an extract and infusion as a hemostatic agent, mainly for uterine bleeding.
Release form: on 100 g in paper bags packed in cardboard packs.
Included in anti-hemorrhoid suppositories "Anestezol".
Liquid water pepper extract (Extractum Polygoni hydropiperis fluidum). Transparent greenish-brown liquid with a fragrant odor, bitter-astringent taste.
Assign 30 to 40 drops 3-4 times a day.

DS 1 tablespoon 3 times a day
Rp .: Extr. Polegoni hydropiperis fluidi 25 ml
DS 30 to 40 drops 3-4 times a day (half an hour before meals).
