Medication Description: Hydrochloric Acid (Acidum hydrochloricu)
HLORIC ACID (Acidum hydrochloricu).
Synonym: Acid hydrochloric.
Colorless transparent volatile liquid with a peculiar smell, sour taste, mixed with water and alcohol in all ratios, forming solutions of a strongly acidic reaction.
Storage: List B. In bottles with ground traffic jams.
For medical purposes, diluted hydrochloric acid is used. If it is prescribed without a designation of concentration, always release the diluted hydrochloric acid; 6% acid solution is used in the treatment of scabies according to Demianovich (see Sodium thiosulfate).
