Description medications: Hydrochloric acid, diluted (Acidum hydrochloricum dilutum)

HYDROCHLORIC diluted acid (Acidum hydrochloricum dilutum).

Synonym: Hydrochloric acid divorced.

Contains 1 part hydrochloric acid and 2 parts water. Hydrogen chloride content of 8 2 - 8, 4%. Clear, colorless liquid acid reaction.

Administered orally in drops and medicines (often along with pepsin) with insufficient gastric acidity (see. Acidin-pepsin).

When hypochromic anemia with iron supplementation is usually prescribed hydrochloric acid diluted; it improves the absorption and utilization of iron.

Assign an adult to 10 - 15 drops 2 - 3 - 4 times a day before or during meals (1/4 - 1/2 cup of water); children under 1 year - 1 drop of from 2 to 5 years - 2 - 5 drops; from 6 to 12 years - 5 - 10 drops per reception.

Higher doses for adults inside: single 2 ml (40 drops) daily 6 ml (120 drops).
