Description of the medicine: Hydrochloric diluted acid (Acidum hydrochloricum dilutum)
HYDROCHLORIDE DILUTED ACID (Acidum hydrochloricum dilutum).
Synonym: Diluted hydrochloric acid.
Contains 1 part hydrochloric acid and 2 parts water. The content of hydrogen chloride is 8, 2 - 8, 4%. A clear, colorless acidic liquid.
Apply inside in drops and medicines (often together with pepsin) with insufficient acidity of gastric juice (see Acidin-pepsin).
In case of hypochromic anemia, diluted hydrochloric acid is usually prescribed together with iron preparations; it helps to improve the absorption and utilization of iron.
Assign to adults 10 to 15 drops 2 to 3 to 4 times a day before or during meals (in 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water); children under 1 year old - 1 drop each, from 2 to 5 years old - 2 to 5 drops each; from 6 to 12 years - 5 to 10 drops per reception.
Higher doses for adults inside: single 2 ml (40 drops), daily 6 ml (120 drops).
Storage: List B. In bottles with ground stoppers.
