The pelvis is female

Adult female pelvis is made up of four bones: two nameless one sacrum and coccyx one that are fastened to each other by layers of cartilage and ligaments. All joints of the pelvic bones, still or moving very little, soften during pregnancy. By the end of it they are so extensible that it creates at birth the possibility of some increase in the size of the pelvis. The adult female pelvis compared with the male more voluminous and wide and at the same time less deep.
