Sudden birth

Sometimes it is necessary to render first aid to women, giving birth at home, in a train, plane and so on. First of all, care should be taken to create aseptic conditions: carefully wash and disinfect hands, disinfect scissors, prepare a sterile bandage, put in strong alcohol (iodine tincture) strong thread, ribbon. After the birth of the baby stops determining the pulsation of the umbilical cord, it is bandaged with a ribbon 5-10 cm from the navel in two places, and then the cord is cut between them. If the child does not breathe, having sucked amniotic fluid from the mouth and nose of the rubber pear, it is necessary to begin artificial respiration.
