Chronic mastitis

Chronic mastitis is more often a manifestation of tuberculous lesions. It is formed as a result of hematogenous dissemination of the disease. In the breast tissue, infiltrates are formed, which are often opened independently with the formation of fistulas with torpid current. A differential diagnosis is required with actinomycosis and cancer.

Treatment: massive general and local treatment with tuberculostatics. The prognosis depends on the underlying disease.
