Symptoms. With internal injuries - pain and difficulty in swallowing. Damage is easily established by examining the pharynx (pharyngoscopy, posterior rhinoscopy).
Treatment. In case of internal damage, foreign bodies are first removed, if any. With the goal of preventing the suppuration in the throat, rinse throat (solutions of furacilin, potassium permanganate, etc.), a sparing diet, according to indications - sulfanilamide preparations and antibiotics. When abscessing, surgical treatment is used.
