Clinical manifestations are caused by the introduction of a fertilized female mite into the stratum corneum of the epidermis, where it digs the itch muscles in which it lays eggs. After 2 weeks, after several stages of development, mature forms of the parasite emerge from the eggs, which are introduced after fertilization into new areas of the skin.

Clinical picture. The main symptom of scabies is a common night itch, due to the activity of ticks at this time of day. In addition to scratching, there are small papouzisic and pathognomonic for the disease "scabies" in the form of small grayish, slightly elevated, straight or curved strips with a bubble on the end in which the female is. Scabies are often complicated by pyoderma (furuncles, ectims, impetigo).

Treatment: rubbing antiparasitic products into the skin (33% sulfuric ointment or Wilkinson ointment once a day for 5 days); Treatment by the method of Demjanovich (rubbing 60% solution of sodium hyposulphate, then 6% hydrochloric acid solution for 20 minutes); 20% (in children 10%), the benzyl benzoate emulsion is rubbed with a cotton-tampon swab 2 times for 10 minutes with a 10-minute break. After applying Demjanovich's solutions and benzyl benzoate emulsion, patients change their underwear and bed linen and refrain from washing for 3 days. After 3 days it is necessary to conduct a general wash with a repeated change of bed linen and bed linen. Things and housing of the patient are subject to disinfection.
