Herniated hernia

Umbilical hernia is more common in women. Promotes the formation of a hernia of frequent childbirth, heavy physical work. Like the postoperative hernia, they are often irreversible and multi-chambered.

Treatment is prompt, with a small amount of umbilical ring using the method of Lexer (sutured suture for abdominal wall defect) with the preservation of the navel. The usual variant of the operation is the duplication of the aponeurosis in the transverse direction (the Mayo method).
