Flatulence - the accumulation of gases in the digestive tract, with bloating, belching, cramping pains.

The causes of flatulence. Flatulence can be a consequence of obstruction of the intestines when blood is stagnant in the abdominal organs, with heart failure. However, a large accumulation of gases can also occur in a completely healthy person after excessive consumption of certain products: natural milk, legumes, potatoes, cabbage, grapes, beer, kvass, black bread, etc.

Manifestations of flatulence: a feeling of heaviness and dilating of the abdomen, cramping pains, passing after the gases escape, bloating. Hiccups, eructations are possible. Sometimes the pains are so strong that they are accompanied by a cold sweat, pain in the heart and even fainting.

Folk remedies for the treatment of flatulence:
  • 2 teaspoons of the crushed dandelion root of medicinal to pour 200 ml of cold boiled water, to insist 8 hours, strain. Drink 50 ml infusion 4 times a day before meals. Apply for inflammation of the stomach and intestines, flatulence, constipation, liver disease, gallbladder, and also to improve metabolism and digestion.
  • 20 grams of parsley seeds are poured into a glass of cold water, heated in a water bath for 30 minutes, cooled and filtered. The broth is taken 1 tablespoon 5 times a day with flatulence. Another recipe: 1/2 teaspoon of crushed parsley seeds are poured into 2 cups of cold boiled water and infused for 8 hours. Infusion is drunk during the day in equal portions. Or: 4 teaspoons of dried or fresh parsley roots pour 1/2 cup of boiling water, insist 8-10 hours. Drink 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day for 20 minutes before meals.
  • Take 1 tablespoon of the crushed dill seeds and pour 1.5 cups of boiling water (this is the daily rate). Insist in a closed vessel for at least 2-3 hours, carefully strain. Drink 1/2 cup 3 times a day for several hours before meals.
  • Dilute 1 part of the dill oil in 10 parts water. Take 1 tablespoon 3-6 times a day.
  • When bloating, take 1 teaspoon of powder from carrot seeds 3 times a day.
  • Prepare ingredients in the following proportions: rowan fruit - 4 parts, mint leaves - 3 parts, dill seeds - 3 parts, valerian root - 2 parts. A tablespoon of the mixture pour 200 ml of boiling water, insist 40-60 minutes, drain. Drink 100 ml infusion 2 times a day with flatulence and intestinal spasm.
  • A tablespoon of dried flowers of chamomile pharmacy pour 200 ml of boiling water, boil for 5 minutes, insist 4 hours, drain. Take 2 tablespoons 4 times a day before meals.
  • 2 tablespoons mint leaves field brew 400 ml boiling water, insist for 20 minutes and strain. Infusion take 100-200 ml for 20 minutes before meals 2-3 times a day.
  • A teaspoon of chopped dry herb wormwood bitter pour 200 ml of boiling water, leave for 30 minutes and strain. Take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day for 15 minutes before meals.
  • 20-30 g rhizomes of elecampane pour 1 liter of water. Decoction to apply when bloating intestines. You can also use infusion.
  • The herb of St. John's wort, the grass of the yarrow, the grass of the weedweed blend equally. Three tablespoons of the mixture to infuse 2 hours in 1 liter of boiling water, drain. Take 1/2 cup 4-5 times a day for stomach pain, bloating and heartburn.
  • With malodorous bowel movements, drink 2-3 glasses of a weak warm infusion of eucalyptus leaf globules on an empty stomach.
  • A teaspoon of herb millet medicinal water, pour 200 ml of boiled water at room temperature, insist for 2 hours and strain. Drink 70 to 100 ml infusion 2-3 times a day.
  • Mix the leaves of peppermint (2 parts), valerian root (2 parts), fennel fruits (1 part). Two teaspoons of the mixture brew 200 ml of boiling water, insist 20 minutes, drain. Take 100 ml of infusion in the morning and evening.
  • Mix chamomile flowers (2 parts), cumin fruits (1 part), oregano grass (1 part). Two tablespoons of the mixture pour 500 ml of boiling water, insist 8-10 hours and strain. Drink 100 ml of infusion 4 times a day.

Diet. For people who often suffer from flatulence, it is recommended to exclude radish, cabbage from food; Eggs are only in raw form; More often put enemas; Take after eating a powder of magnesia (at the tip of the knife). For a practically healthy person, only a diet is required: there is less fresh bread, sweets, peas, beans, cabbage, potatoes, and to limit the consumption of acidic and carbonated beverages. Include in the diet products containing proteins - meat, fish, cottage cheese, curdled milk, etc. If putrefactive processes prevail (gases with fetid odor), the amount of protein in the diet, on the contrary, is reduced.
