Resins.

Resins. Organic compounds that are complex in chemical composition, solid or semi-liquid, sticky and insoluble in water, with a characteristic smell, close to essential oils, often found in the composition of resins. Some resins have an early-healing, bactericidal and laxative effect. A large number of resinous substances are found in plants such as birch (kidneys, leaves), pine (bark).
