Obsessive states are found in the structure of psychopathies of the psychasthenic type, neurotic disorders, schizophrenia. The prognosis and treatment depend on the underlying disease; More often resort to tranquilizers (tazepam, phenazepam , etc.) and small doses of neuroleptics (tryptazine - 10-30 mg), training psychotherapy (autogenic training).
