The sons of Reuben, the first-born of Israel, are the first-born; But when he defiled his father's bed, his primacy was given to the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel, so that he might not be written by the firstborn;
Because Judas was the strongest of his brothers, and the leader of him, but the primacy was [transferred] to Joseph.
The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Fallu, Hezron and Harmi.
The sons of Joel: Shethma his son; His son Gogh, his son Shimei,
His son Miha, his son Reaia, his son Baal,
th His son Beer, whom Feglafellasar, king of Assyria, took captive. He [was] the prince of Reuben.
th And his brothers, according to their families, according to their genealogy, were: the chief Jeiel, then Zacharias,
And Bela, the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel. He dwelt in Aroer to Nebo and Baal-Meon;
And to the east he dwelt before entering the wilderness, coming from the river Euphrates, because their herds were numerous in the land of Gilead.
In the days of Saul, they waged war against the Hagarites, who fell at their hands, and they began to live in tents and throughout the eastern side of Gilead.
eleven The sons of Gad lived in front of them in the land of Bashan before Salchah:
In Johann, Johan was the chief, Shaphan the second, then Ianai and Shafat.
Their brothers and their families were seven: Michael, Meshullam, Sheva, Joray, Jakan, Zia and Eber.
These are the sons of Abihail, the son of Huriy, the son of Joroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishiah, the son of Jahdo the son of Buz.
Ahi, the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, was the head of his family.
They lived in Gilead, in Bashan and in the cities that depend on it, and in all the neighborhoods of Saron, before their exodus.
th All of them are listed in the days of Jotham the king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.

The descendants of Reuben and Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh had men of war, men carrying shields and swords, shooting from bow and trained to battle, forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty, going to war.
And they fought with the Hagar, Jetur, Nafish and Nadav.
And the help was given to them against them, and the Hagarins were handed over to them and everything that they had, because they cried out to God during the battle, and He heard them, because they trusted in Him.
And they took their flocks: camels fifty thousand, of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, of asses two thousand, and one hundred thousand souls of men,
Because many slain fell, because of God this battle was. And they lived in their place before the migration.
The descendants of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in that land, from Bashan to Baal-Hermon and Senir and to Mount Hermon; And there were a lot of them.
And these are the heads of their fathers' houses: Ether, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Godavia and Jagdiel, powerful men, prominent men, heads of their families.
But when they sinned against the God of their fathers, and began to prostitute after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God had cast out from their presence,
th Then the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Ful, the king of Assyria, and the spirit of Pheglafellasar king of Assyria, and he evicted the Reuben and the Gadites and half the tribe of Manasseh, and led them to Halah, and Havor, and Aru, and to the Gozan river [where they ] till today.
