Peter 1

Peter, the Apostle of Jesus Christ, to the aliens scattered in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia,
At the foreknowledge of God the Father, with sanctification from the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus Christ: Grace be to you and peace be multiplied.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, through His great mercy, has brought us back to the living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
To the inheritance incorruptible, pure, unfading, stored in heaven for you,
By the power of God through faith observed to salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

th Rejoice in this, now, having sorrowed a little, if necessary, from various temptations,
th That your tested faith may prove to be more precious than that which perishes, though fire tested, to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ,
Whom having not seen, you love, and Whom not yet seeing, but believing in Him, rejoice in joy unspeakable and glorious,
Reaching at last by your faith the salvation of souls.

This salvation was related to the researches and studies of prophets who predicted the grace that was assigned to you,
eleven Investigating, on which and for how long the Spirit of Christ indicated in them, when He foretold the sufferings of Christ and the glory that followed them.
It was revealed to them that it was not for them, but for us that which was now preached to you by the Holy Ghost, sent from heaven by the gospel, what the Angels desire to penetrate.

Therefore, belting, girding your mind's loins, being awake, completely rely on the grace given to you in the appearance of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts that were in your ignorance,
But, following the example of the Holy One who called you, be holy in all your actions.
For it is written, "Be ye holy, for I am holy."
th And if you call the Father the One who judges everyone unreasonably on business, then with fear, spend the time of your pilgrimage,
Knowing that you were not redeemed by corruptible silver or gold from a vain life, betrayed to you from your fathers,
But with the precious blood of Christ, as a pure and pure Lamb,
Intended even before the creation of the world, but appeared in the last times for you,
Who believed through Him into God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that you may have faith and trust in God.
By obeying the truth through the Spirit, having cleansed your souls for unfeigned brotherly love, constantly love one another with a pure heart,
[As] regenerated, not from perishable seed, but from incorruptible, from the word of God, living and abiding forever.

For all flesh is like grass, and every glory of man is like a flower in the grass: the grass is withered, and its color is opal;
But the word of the Lord endures forever; And this is the word that is preached to you.
