So, just as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, you also arm yourself with that same thought; For he who suffers in the flesh ceases to sin, |

So that the rest in the flesh can no longer live according to human lusts, but according to the will of God. |

For it is enough that you in the past time of life acted according to the will of the Gentile, indulging in uncleanness, lusts (sodomy, bestiality, thoughts), drunkenness, excess in food and drink and ridiculous idolatry;

And if the righteous scarcely escapes, the wicked and sinful one will appear? |
