Twenty-five years [was] Jotham, when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; His mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, just as Uzziah his father did, only he did not enter the temple of the Lord, and the people continued to sin.
He built the upper gate of the house of the Lord, and built many things on the wall of Ophel;
And built cities on the hill of Judah, and built palaces and towers in the woods.
He fought against the king of the Ammonites and overcame them, and the Ammonites gave him that year a hundred talents of silver and ten thousand cows of wheat and barley ten thousand. This was given to him by the Ammonites for another year, and for a third.
th So mighty was Jotham because he built his ways before the LORD his God.
th Other acts of Jotham and all his wars and his conduct are described in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah:
He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
