Do not sacrifice to the LORD your God, an ox or a sheep, wherein is blemish, [or] anything evil; for that is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
If there is among you, within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,
and hath gone and served other gods, and worshiped them, or the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded,
and told thee, and thou shalt hear, thou inquire diligently; and if it be true, if done abomination is wrought in Israel,
Bring out the man or that woman who did this evil thing, unto thy gates and shalt stone them to death with stones.
According to two witnesses, or of three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death shall not be put to death according to one witness;
hand of the witnesses shall be first upon him [all] to kill him, and afterward the hands of all the people; and [so] shalt thou put evil away from among you.

If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment between blood and blood, between the court and the court, between the beatings and beatings, [and] [be] dissenting opinion in your gates, then you shall arise and go to the place which the LORD thy God,
and come to the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment;
and do according to the sentence, which they will tell you, in the place which the LORD, and do according to all that they teach you;
eleven according to the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they tell you, and did not turn aside to the right or left from what they tell you.
And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or the judge, that man shall die --and [sic] shall purge the evil from Israel;
and all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

When you come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and dwell therein, and say, `I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me '
surely set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God; from among your brothers set king over thee; you can not put over them [the king] foreigner who is not your brother.
Just so it does not multiply horses to himself, and not the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the LORD has said to you, `Do not go back more that way ';
and not to multiply wives, lest his heart turn, and that silver and gold shall not multiply excessively.
But when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he shall write him a copy of this law in a book, [located] before the priests the Levites,
and it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes;
to not lifted up above the heart of his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment to the right or to the left, in order to prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his sons in the midst of Israel.
