In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth [day] of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was smitten, in the selfsame day was upon me a hand of the Lord, and He brought me there.
In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel and set me upon a very high mountain, and on it, on the south side, were like city buildings;
and he brought me there. And behold a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
And the man said to me: `Son of man, see with your eyes and hear with your ears, and set thy heart to all that I show you, for you to order and brought here, that I showed you [it]; all that you see, to build the house of Israel. "

Now, outside the temple wall on all sides [of it], and in man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits, [each counting elbow] in the elbow with the palm; and he measured the thickness of the building one reed, and the height one reed.
Then he went to the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold one reed broad.
And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within, one reed.
He measured the porch of the gate within, one reed
and the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts, two cubits. The porch of the gate was inward.
Little chambers of the gate eastward were three - on the one hand and the three - with the other; one measure in all three, and one measure of the pillars on either side.
eleven The breadth of the entry of the gate he measured ten cubits, and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.
And before the chambers was one cubit, and one cubit on the other side of the ledge; These rooms are on one side [were] six cubits and six cubits on that side.
Then he measured the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another twenty-five cubits broad; door against door.
He made also posts of threescore cubits, each column court round about the gate,
and from the front side of the entrance of the gate to the front of the inner gate was fifty cubits.
There were narrow windows and in the chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and also in the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post - palm.
And he brought me into the outer court, and behold there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all around; thirty chambers were upon the pavement.
And the pavement by the side of the gates, respectively, the length of the gates; this was the lower pavement.
And he measured the width of the lower gate to the outer edge of the inner court, a hundred cubits, to the east and north.
He measured the length and width of the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north,
and the side chambers thereof were three on one side and three on the other; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
And their windows, and its projections, and its palm trees - the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and come to it by seven steps, and before them the projections.
And the courtyard there is a gate against the gate of the north and east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.
And he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south; and he measured the posts, and to these measures.
And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof are the same as those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
Raising them - seven steps, and the arches in front of them; and palm trees - one on the side and one on the other at their posts.

And in the inner court toward the south gate; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits.
Then he brought me through the south gate of the courtyard; and he measured the south gate according to these measures.
And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof - the same measures, and windows in the arches thereof round about; the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
thirty Arches round about were the length of five and twenty cubits, and five cubits broad.
And the arches were on their outer court, and palm trees were upon the posts thereof; up to it - in eight steps.
And he brought me to the east gate of the courtyard; and measured in the same measure of the gate.
And the side chambers them, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures; and the windows thereof, and the arches thereof round about; the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
Arches they were on the outer court, and palm trees on its posts on this side and on the other hand; up to it - in eight steps.
Then he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures.
The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about; the length was fifty cubits, and breadth five and twenty cubits.
Arches they were on the outer court, and palm trees on its posts on this side and on the other hand; up to it - in eight steps.
There was also a room, the entrance to it, the pillars, gates: there they washed the burnt offering.

And in the porch of the gate were two tables on one side and two on the other side, to slaughter on them the burnt-offering and the sin offering and the trespass.
And at the outer side at the entrance of the north gate were two tables; and on the other side, beside the porch of the gate, two tables.
Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, on the side of the gate [all] eight tables, whereupon they slew [the victim].
And the four tables for the burnt offering were of hewn stone, a length and a half cubits, and its breadth six cubits, and the height of one cubit; they put guns to slaughter the burnt-offering and [other] sacrifices.
And the hooks, an hand was fastened to the walls of buildings around, and put the sacrificial meat on the table.
Outside of the inner gate were rooms for the singers; on the courtyard side of the northern gate, one is facing the south, and the other side of the southern gate having the prospect toward the north.
And he said to me: `This chamber which faces south is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house;
and the chamber which faces north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who alone among the sons of Levi come near to the Lord, to serve Him. "
And he measured the court a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits broad, [he] was foursquare; and the altar was before the house.
And he brought me to the porch of the temple, and measured the pillars of the porch, five cubits on one side and five cubits on the other; and the gate was three cubits wide on one side and three cubits on the other.
The length of the porch - twenty cubits, and the width - eleven cubits, and ascend into it by the steps; They were pillars and the pillars, one on one side and the other with another.
