The Book of Judges 7

Jerubbaal, he and Gideon, rose early in the morning and all the people who were with him, and encamped at the source of Charod; The Midian mill was from him to the north at the Mora hill in the valley.
And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are with thee too much; I can not deliver the Midianites into their hand; lest Israel should pride themselves in me, and say, My hand hath saved me.
So proclaim in the ears of the people and say: "Whoever is timid and timid, let him return and go back from Mount Gilead." And the people returned twenty-two thousand, and ten thousand remained.
And the LORD said unto Gideon, There is still much people; Lead them to the water; there I will choose them for you; Of whom I will say, Let him go with thee; let him go with thee; But of whomsoever I say unto thee, `He must not go with thee ', let him not go.
He led the people to the water. And the LORD said unto Gideon, Whosoever shall water his tongue with water, as a dog heaves, set apart especially, and also all those who will bend down on their knees and drink.
th And there was the number of people who lapped their mouth with their hands; The rest of the people leaned on their knees to drink water.
th And the LORD said to Gideon, "I will save you by three hundred lacers, and will deliver the Midianites into your hands, and let all the people go, each to his place."
And they took a supply of food from the people themselves and their trumpets, and Gideon sent all Israel to the tents, and kept three hundred men; And the camp of Midian was beside him in the valley.

On that night the Lord said to him: Arise, go down into the camp, I give it into your hands;
If you are afraid to go, then go to the camp and Fur, your servant;
eleven And you will hear what they say, and then your hands will be strengthened, and you will go to the camp. And he went down and Fur, his servant, to the very [armed forces] who were in the camp.
And the Midianites, and the Amalekites, and all the inhabitants of the east, arrayed themselves in the valley, as many as locusts; There were no numbers for their camels, there were many of them, like sand on the seashore.
Gideon came. And one of them tells a dream and says: "I dreamed that a round barley loaf was rolling around the Midian camp and, having come to the tent, struck him so that he fell, knocked him over, and the tent fell apart.
The other said in answer to him: this is nothing else than the sword of Gideon, the son of Joash, the Israelite; God has delivered into his hands the Midianites and the whole camp.
Gideon, hearing the story of the dream and the interpretation of it, bowed [to the Lord] and returned to the camp of Israel and said: get up! The LORD delivered you into the hand of the camp of Midian.

And he divided three hundred men into three orders, and gave into their hands all the trumpets and the empty jars, and the lamps for the pitchers.
th And he said to them: Look at me and do the same; Behold, I will go to the camp, and whatsoever I do, ye also do;
When I blow the trumpet with me, blow your trumpets around the whole camp, and shout: [the sword] of the Lord and Gideon!
And Gideon went up, and a hundred men with him to the camp, at the beginning of the middle guard, and awoke the guards, and blew the trumpets, and pitched the jars that were in their hands.
And they sounded the trumpets with trumpets, and pitchers were pitched, and lamps were held in the left hand, and in the right hand the trumpets were blown and shouted: the sword of the Lord and Gideon!
And everyone stood in his place around the camp; And they ran in all the camp, and cried, and were put to flight.
While three hundred people blew trumpets, the Lord turned the sword of one upon another in the whole camp, and the militia fled to Bethshitta to Tsarer, to the limit of Abelmehola, near Tabafa.

And the men of Israel were called from the tribe of Naphtali, Asher, and all the tribe of Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.
And Gideon sent envoys to the whole mountain, saying to Ephraim, Go out to meet the Midianites, and intercept the waters to Bethfara and Jordan from them. And all the Ephraimites were called together, and they intercepted the waters to Beth-mar-i and Jordan;
And the two princes of Midian were caught: Oreb and Zeeb, and they killed Orib in Tzur-Oryve, and Ziba in Ikev-Ziv and persecuted the Midianites; The heads of Oriva and Ziva were brought to Gideon beyond the Jordan.
