Job 14

The man born by the wife is short-lived and full of sorrows:
As a flower, he goes out and falls down; Runs like a shadow, and does not stop.
And on him you open Your eyes, and lead me to the judgment with You?
Who shall be born clean from the unclean? No one.
If the days are fixed to him, and the number of his months is with You, if You put a limit to him, which he will not pass over,
th Then depart from him: let him rest until he has finished, like a mercenary, his day.

th For the tree there is a hope that it, if it is cut down, will come to life again, and the branches from it will not cease:
If his root was obsolete in the earth, and his stump froze in the dust,
But it only smells the water, it gives offspring and branches, as if re-planted.
A person dies and disintegrates; Walked away, and where is he?
eleven The waters leave the lake, and the river dries up and dries up:
So a man will lie down and not become; Until the end of the heavens he does not awaken and will not rise from his sleep.
Oh, if You had hidden me in the underworld and sheltered me while Your wrath passed, He laid down my time and then remembered me!
When a person dies, will he live again? All the days of my time, I would wait for the change to come.
You would call, and I would give You an answer, and You would show favor in the creation of Your hands;

For then you would number my steps and not lie in wait for my sin;
th In my roll, my iniquity was sealed, and You would have closed my guilt.
But the mountain falling is destroyed, and the rock descends from its place;
Water erases stones; Spilling it wipes away the dust of the earth: so you destroy the hope of man.
Push him to the end, and he leaves; You change his face and send him away.
In honor his children - he does not know whether they are humiliated - he does not notice;
But his flesh aches on him, and his soul suffers in him.
