And Joshua rose early in the morning, and they moved from Shittim and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over [it].
And after three days I went to the camp guards
and gave commandment to the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests [and] the Levites, bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it;
however the distance between you and it should be about two thousand cubits by measure; do not come near it, that ye may know the way in which they should walk; because you did not go sim by either yesterday or the day before yesterday.
And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.
Priests, Jesus said, Take up the ark of the covenant, and go before the people. [The priests] took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.

Then the Lord said to Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all the [sons] of Israel, that they may know that as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee;
And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying: As soon as you enter the waters of the Jordan, stand still in Jordan.
Jesus said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.
And Joshua said, Hereby you shall know that among you is the living God, drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites:
eleven Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go before you into Jordan;
Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, one man from the tribe;
and as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests carrying the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, set foot in the water of the Jordan, the Jordan dries up the water flowing from above the water stop wall.

So, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
that those who bore the ark came into the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who carried the ark were dipped in the water of the Jordan - Jordan is in favor of all its banks all the days of wheat harvest, -
water flowing down from above stood and became a wall at a very great distance from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan; and the sea of the plain, the Salt Sea, is gone and dried up.
And the people passed over opposite Jericho; And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood on dry land the midst of Jordan. All [the sons] of Israel passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.
