Leviticus 16

And the Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they, having come before the Lord, died,
and the Lord said unto Moses, tell Aaron your brother that he should not at all times enter the sanctuary by the curtain before the lid, that is on the ark, lest he die, for over the lid I will appear in the cloud.
This is what Aaron must enter in the sanctuary: with the calf as a sacrifice for sin and with the ram for a burnt offering;
he should put on the sacred linen tunic, let the linen bottom dress be on his body, and let him gird himself with a linen belt, and put on a linen kid: these are sacred clothes; and let him wash his body with water and put them on;

and from the company of the sons of Israel let him take two goats as a sacrifice for sin and one ram for a burnt offering.
And Aaron will bring the bullock as a sacrifice for sin for himself and cleanse himself and his house.
And he will take two goats and put them before the Lord at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation;
And Aaron will cast for both the goats of the lot: one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat;
and Aaron will bring the goat, on which the lot for the Lord came out, and sacrifice it for sin,
and the goat, on which the lot for the scapegoat went out, will set the living before the Lord, to purify him and send him into the wilderness for the scapegoat.
eleven And Aaron will bring the calf as a sacrifice for sin for himself, and he will cleanse himself and his house, and he will kill the calf as a sacrifice for sin for himself;
and he will take the burning coals of the full censer from the altar, which is before the Lord, and incense finely crushed smoking full of handfuls, and bring it behind the veil;
thirteen and he will put incense on the fire before the Lord, and a cloud of incense will cover the lid that is above the [ark] of revelation, lest he die;
and he will take the blood of the calf and sprinkle it with his finger on the lid on the front and in front of the lid, seven times sprinkle blood on his finger.

fifteen And he slaughtered a goat as a sacrifice for sin for the people, and brings his blood for the veil, and does with his blood what he did with the blood of the calf and sprinkles it on the lid and before the lid,
and he will cleanse the sanctuary from the uncleanness of the sons of Israel and from their transgressions, in all their sins. So he must do the same with the tabernacle of the congregation that is with them, in the midst of their uncleanness.
No man should be in the tabernacle of the congregation when he enters to cleanse the sanctuary, until his exit. And so he will cleanse himself, his house and the whole community of Israel.
And he will go out to the altar, which is before the Lord, and cleanse him, and take the blood of the calf and the blood of a goat, and lay it on the horns of the altar from all sides,
and sprinkle blood upon him from his finger seven times, and cleanse him, and sanctify him from the uncleanness of the sons of Israel.

And having completed the cleansing of the sanctuary, the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he will bring the living goat,
And Aaron will lay both his hands on the head of a living goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the sons of Israel and all their transgressions and all their sins, and lay them on the head of a goat, and send him with the purveyor to the wilderness:
and the goat will bear upon itself all their iniquities in the impassable land, and he will let the goat into the wilderness.
And Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and took off the linen clothes that he put on when he entered the sanctuary, and left them there,
and he will wash his body with water in a holy place, and put on his clothes, and he will go out and make a burnt offering for himself and a burnt offering for the people, and he will cleanse himself and the people;
and the fat of the sin offering shall be burned on the altar.
And he who took the scapegoat should wash his clothes, wash his body with water, and then he can enter the camp.
But the calves for sin and the goat for sin, which the blood was brought to cleanse the sanctuary, may they carry out of the camp and burn their skin and their flesh and their uncleanness on fire;
he who burns them must wash his clothes and wash his body with water, and after that he can enter the camp.

th And let this be an eternal decree for you: in the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, humble your souls and do not do anything, neither the native or the stranger who has settled between you,
thirty for today they cleanse you to make you clean from all your sins, so that you can be clean before the Lord;
this is the Sabbath of rest for you, humble your souls: this is an eternal ordinance.
And the priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated, to cleanse him instead of his father, must cleanse: and he will put on linen clothes, holy clothes,
and he will cleanse the Holy of Holies and the tabernacle of the congregation, and he will cleanse the altar, and he will cleanse the priests and all the people of society.
And may this be an eternal decree for you: to cleanse the sons of Israel from all their sins once a year. And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.
