Previous chapter Index Next chapter
And the Lord said unto Moses, saying:
take Aaron and his sons with him, and anointing clothes and oil, and a calf for the sin offering and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread,
and gather all the congregation to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Moses did as the Lord commanded him, and the congregation gathered at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And Moses said to the congregation: this is what the Lord commanded to do.
And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water;
and laid a tunic on him, and put a belt around him, and put on an upper robe, and put an ephod on him, and put a belt on the ephod and fastened the ephod on it,
And he put the breastplate on him, and on the breastplate he put the Urim and Thummim,
and laid on his head a qidar, and on the qidar from the front he laid a polished tablet, the diadem of the shrine, as the Lord commanded Moses.
And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified it;
eleven and he sprinkled them on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its foot, to sanctify them;
and he poured the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to sanctify him.
thirteen And Moses brought the sons of Aaron, and clothed them in tunics, and wrapped them in a belt, and put on them kithars, as the Lord commanded Moses.

And he brought the calf for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the calf for sin;
fifteen and he slaughtered [him] and took the blood, and laid it with his finger on the horns of the altar on all sides, and cleaned the altar, and [the rest] poured the blood at the foot of the altar, and sanctified it to make it clean.
And he took all the fat that was on the innards, and the omentum on the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and Moses burned on the altar;
and his calf and his skin, and his flesh, and his uncleanness burned on fire outside the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses.
And he brought the ram for a burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram;
and Moses slaughtered [him] and sprinkled blood on the altar from all sides;
And he cut the ram into pieces, and Moses burned his head and pieces and fat.
and he washed the entrails and feet with water, and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar: this is a burnt offering in a sweet fragrance, this is a sacrifice to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
And he brought another ram, the ram of consecration, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram;
and Moses slaughtered [him], and took his blood, and laid it on the edge of Aaron’s right ear and on the thumb of his right hand and on the thumb of his right foot.
And Moses brought the sons of Aaron, and laid blood on the edge of their right ear and on the thumb of their right hand and on the thumb of their right foot, and Moses sprinkled blood on the altar from all sides.
And he took the fat and the fat tail, and the whole fat that is on the entrails, and the omentum on the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and their right shoulder;
and from the basket with unleavened bread, which was before the Lord, he took one unleavened bread and one bread with oil and one flat cake, and laid it on the fat and on the right shoulder;
and he put all this in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons, and brought it, shaking it before the Lord;
and Moses took it from their hands and burned it on the altar with a burnt offering: this is the sacrifice of consecration for a sweet fragrance, this is a sacrifice to the Lord.
th And Moses took the breast and brought it, shaking it before the Lord: it was the portion of Moses from the ram of consecration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
thirty And Moses took the anointing oil and blood that was on the altar, and sprinkled Aaron and his clothes, and his sons, and the clothes of his sons with him; and so he sanctified Aaron and his clothes, and his sons, and the clothes of his sons with him.

And Moses said to Aaron and his sons: cook the meat at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation, and there eat it with bread, which is in the dedication basket, as I have been told and told: Aaron and his sons should eat it;
and burn the remnants of meat and bread in a fire.
Seven days do not leave the door of the tabernacle of the congregation until the days of your consecration are fulfilled, for seven days your consecration must be completed;
as it was done today, the Lord commanded us to do to cleanse you;
at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation, be day and night for seven days, and be on guard by the Lord, so as not to die, for so I am commanded [by the Lord God].
And Aaron and his sons did all that the Lord commanded through Moses.
