Proverbs 26

1 As snow in summer and rain in harvest, so honor is not seemly for a fool.

2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

3 Beach for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and stick to the foolish.

4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him;
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.

6 Crops their feet, tolerate the unpleasant, who gives verbal instructions fool.
7 The legs of the lame, --and a parable in the mouth of fools.
8 What puts a precious stone in a sling, then paying homage honor to a fool.
9 What [prickly] turn in the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fools.

10 Strong making all things both rewards the fool, and rewardeth.

eleven As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.

12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? A fool is more hope than of him.

13 The slothful man saith: `lion on the road! lion in the square! '

14 As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.

15 The sluggard buries his hand in the bowl, and it would be hard to bring it to his mouth.

16 The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes seven responsible deliberation.

17 He grabs a dog by the ears, who, passing by, interfere in someone else's quarrel.

18 Like pretending to be mad throws firebrands, arrows, and death,
19 so - the man who deceives his neighbor and then says, 'I was only joking. "

20 Where no wood, the fire goes out, and where there is no talebearer, the strife ceases.
21 Coal - for heat and wood - for the fire, and quarrelsome man - to kindle strife.
22 earphone Word - as wounds, and they go down into the interior of the womb.

23 What unclean potsherd covered with silver, Burning lips and an evil heart.

24 Through the words of his enemy pretends, but in his heart devises deceit.
25 When he speaketh fair, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart.
26 If hatred is covered by deceit, wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.

27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and who rolled up a stone, it will return upon him.

28 A lying tongue hates those that are afflicted them, and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
