The wicked flee when no one pursues [him]; but the righteous are bold as a lion.

The transgression of the law, then there are many heads; and in understanding and knowledge, it is durable husband.

A poor man that oppresses the poor [the same as] the torrential rain which leaveth no food.

Forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.

Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand everything.

Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

Whoso keepeth the law - a wise son, and knowledgeable with gluttons disgraces his father.

Multiplying his goods and the growth of more than collect it for the poor.

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer - an abomination.

Whoso causeth the righteous to the path of evil, he shall fall himself into his own pit, but the blameless will inherit good.

eleven The rich man - wise in his own eyes, but the poor that hath understanding it.

When the righteous triumph, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.

He who covers his sins shall not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.

Blessed is the man that feareth alway; but he who hardens his heart shall fall into mischief.

Like a roaring lion and a hungry bear, so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.

Unreasonable ruler of a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.

Man guilty of blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.

Whoever walks in integrity shall be saved; and walked crooked ways will fall in one of them.

He who tills his land shall be satisfied with bread, but he that followeth vain persons shall have poverty enough.

A faithful man shall abound with blessings, but who haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

Have respect of persons - it is bad: a man for a piece of bread will transgress.

Hastening to the rich hath an evil man, and not that poverty shall come upon him.

Rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favor than he who flatters with the tongue.

Who robs his father and his mother, and saith, It is no transgression, the - accomplice robbers.

Haughty stirs up strife, and hoping for the Lord will prosper.

He who trusts in himself is a fool; and who walks in wisdom, he will be safe.

Giving to the beggar is not poorer; and who closes his eyes shall have many a curse.

When the wicked rise, men hide themselves, but when they perish, the righteous increase.
