Psalm 18

1 (17-1) ^^ To the chief Musician. Handmaid of the Lord of David, who spoke the words of this song to the Lord, when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said: ^^ (17-2) I will love thee, O Lord, my strength!
2 (17-3) God - my strength, and my refuge, my deliverer, my God, my --skala; in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 (17-4), and call upon the Lord shall be saved from my enemies.
4 (17-5) overwhelmed me the death of flour, and the floods of ungodly me afraid;
5 (17-6) hell circuit enfolded me, and the snares of death prevented me.
6 (17-7) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God. And he heard from his temple my voice, and my cry came into his ears.
7 (17-8) and rocked Then the earth trembled and trembled; the foundations of the mountains, because he was angry [God];
8 (17-9) went up smoke from his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: hot coals [poured] from Him.
9 (17-10) He bowed the heavens and come down, --and darkness was under his feet.
10 (17-11) And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen on the wings of the wind.
eleven (17-12) And he made darkness his, pavilions round about him round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
12 (17-13) From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hail and coals of fire.
13 (17-14) also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice: hail and coals of fire.
14 (17-15) Let his arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
15 (17-16) And the fountains of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were opened by the terrible [the voice] of thy Lord, from the blast of thy nostrils.
16 (17-17) And he put forth [his hand] with the above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters;
17 (17-18) He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18 (17-19) They prevented me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my stay.
19 (17-20) He brought me forth into a large place, and delivered me, because he delighted in me.

20 (17-21) The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands he recompensed me.
21 (17-22) For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not wickedly departed from my God;
22 (17-23) For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart.
23 (17-24) I have been blameless before him and have kept myself from mine iniquity to;
24 (17-25) and the Lord gave me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
25 (17-26) With the merciful Thou wilt graciously, with her husband sincere - sincerely,
26 (17-27) with a clean - clean, and with a sly - by the sleight of it,
27 (17-28) For thou save the afflicted people, but the haughty eyes despise.
28 (17-29) For thou wilt light my candle, O Lord; My God will enlighten my darkness.

29 (17-30) by thee I have run through a troop, by my God I leap over a wall.
thirty (17-31) God! --Neporochen His way is perfect: the word of the Lord; He is a shield to all that trust in him.
31 (17-32) For who is God but the Lord? And who is a rock save our God?
32 (17-33) God has girded me with strength, and maketh my way perfect
33 (17-34) makes my feet like hinds', and setteth me mine;
34 (17-35) teaches my hands to war, and my muscles of steel is broken bow.
35 (17-36) Thou hast given me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand supported me, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36 (17-37) Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.
37 (17-38) I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them, and not again until I have consumed them;
38 (17-39) will smite them, and they can not rise, they are fallen under my feet,
39 (17-40) For thou hast girded me with strength for war, subdued under my feet rise up against me;
40 (17-41) You have also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me:
41 (17-42) they cry, but none to save; to the Lord, --no He did not answer them;
42 (17-43) I beat them as dust before the wind, as the dirt in the streets trampled them.
43 (17-44) Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people, put me head of the stranger; a people which I knew not shall serve me;
44 (17-45) according to one rumor about me obey me; Strangers shall submit themselves unto me:
45 (17-46) strangers fade away, and be afraid out of their close.
46 (17-47) The Lord liveth, and blessed be my protector! Be exalted, God of my salvation,
47 (17-48) God avenges me, and subdues the people under me,
48 (17-49) and redeemed me from my enemies! You lifted me up above those who rise up against me from the violent man saved me.
49 (17-50) For this cause I will praise thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing unto thy name,
50 (17-51) tower of salvation for the king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David and to his seed for ever.
