Psalm 41
| (40-1) ^^ To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. ^^ (40-2) Blessed is he who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him. |
| (40-3) The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive; he shall be blessed upon the earth. And thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemies. |
| (40-4) The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of sickness. You make all his bed in his sickness. |
| (40-5) I said: My Lord! Have mercy on me, heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee. |
| (40-6) Mine enemies speak evil of me: 'When he die and his name perish?' |
| (40-7) And if he come to see me, he speaketh falsehood; his heart composes a lie, and he went out, and interprets. |
| (40-8) All that hate me whisper together against me, plotting to harm me: |
| (40-9) `word Belial came to him; He took to his bed; not get it more '. |
| (40-10) Even a person peace with me, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted his heel against me. |
| (40-11) But thou, O Lord, have mercy on me and raise me up, and I will repay them. |
eleven | (40-12) By this I know that thou hast delighted in me, if my enemy does not triumph over me, |
| (40-13) and I still have in my integrity, and set before thy face for ever. |
| (40-14) Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting! Amen, amen! |
