The Revelation of John 12

And there appeared in heaven a great sign: a woman clothed with the sun; Under her feet is the moon, and on her head is a crown of twelve stars.
She was in the womb, and screamed for pain and birth pangs.
And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems.
His tail dragged a third of the stars from the sky and threw them to the ground. This dragon was before the wife, which was to give birth, so that when she gives birth, devour her baby.
And she gave birth to a male child, to whom all nations should shepherd the rod with iron; And her child was enraptured to God and his throne.
th And the wife fled into the wilderness, where there was prepared for her a place from God, to feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
th And there was a war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought [against them]
But they did not survive, and there was no place for them in heaven.
And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, called the devil and Satan, deceiving the whole universe, cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
And I heard a loud voice speaking in heaven, Now salvation and power have come, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who slandered them before our God day and night.
eleven They defeated him with the blood of the Lamb and with the word of his testimony, and they did not love their souls even to death.

So rejoice, heaven and dwelling on them! Woe to those who dwell on the earth and the sea! Because the devil has come down to you in a violent fury, knowing that he has little time left.
When the dragon saw that he was thrown to the ground, he began to persecute his wife, who gave birth to a male child.
And the wife was given two wings of a large eagle so that she flew into the desert in her place from the face of the serpent and there she ate for a time, times and half a time.
And the serpent cast out water from his mouth after his wife like a river, to draw her by the river.
But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river, which the dragon let out of his mouth.
th And the dragon was angry with his wife, and went to make war with the rest of her seed, keeping the commandments of God and having the testimony of Jesus Christ.
